Sandra MacInnis and Shawn Nystrand

Sandra is a beloved cousin of mine who did me the honour of asking me to officiate at her marriage to Shawn Nystrand. It was particularly special because this large, family wedding would be my first. From the joy of the initial request, through the planning stage to the ceremony itself, it was a perfect way to start my celebrancy career!

Chime Tashi and Lee Gahyun

Chime is a Tibetan-Canadian who married Gahyun, a beautiful young Korean woman. Although they wanted a short ceremony at the North York City Hall, I crafted it with their Buddhist background in mind, including a special wedding blessing I found from a Tibetan Prayer Flag. They and their families were gracious, and a delight to celebrate with.
